Things I've Noticed

Interesting idea. Not completely sold on the idea, and the UI for their OS seems interesting but I’m not sure how well it’d handle my current work process.

Also, I haven’t seen much in the way of serious data entry in touch interfaces. I assume we’ll probably be using keyboard for that for quite some time, and desktop devices will have keyboards hooked up when an on-screen keyboard won’t do the job. Using my iPhone, I can see the appeal of passive data consumption and basic interaction with data and files, but other than posting to Twitter or making a short note for myself, I don’t think I would want to do much typing. I can’t imagine trying to write a program or make a website using a touch screen.
